A 2025 study published in the Journal of Periodontolgy has reported that people who consume red meat frequently has a worse gum health rating.

Saliva has the ability to neutralise acids - helping protect our teeth - and it has been found that leafy vegetables. It is best if you just steam rather than boiling your vegies to get the benefit.
